From June 2012 ASS Altenburger offers three card games to the 4th instalment of the animation hit movie “Ice Age”

Only a few weeks to go before Manny, Sid, and Diego, the unlike but widely popular trio of “Ice Age” finally return to the silver screen. This time they set off on an epic journey: Thanks to continental drift they end up on an iceberg and float right into their next big adventure. Ice Age has long become a cult film, the existing three instalments have all been real blockbuster movies and fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming movie. From June 2012 ASS Altenburger provides all fans of Manny, followers of Diego and Scrat enthusiast with three card games for the whole family and great play fun with Sid & friends. In addition to a game of Old Maid for children aged 4+, a deck of Ice Age poker cards provide sheer fun for the whole family. Besides Crazy Eights and Rummy these cards can be used to play numerous well-known and popular card games. An Ice Age game set of 65 cards tops off the existing range of licensed games. All three games are available since June 2012 at a suggest retail price of 3.50 to 6.95 Euros.

Old Maid (target group: children aged 4+)

The Old Maid game is all about collecting pairs and avoiding being the one who holds Scrat the squirrel in the end. In every Ice Age movie Scrat is always looking for his beloved acorn and facing hilarious adventures. The game follow traditional rules, but the pictures display scenes of the brand new movie Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. The game consists of 32 caringly designed 62 x 100 mm cards, comes in a folding box and is available from specialized shops at a SRP of 3.50 Euros. Old Maid is a classic children’s game par excellence and can be played at an early age of 4.

Regular card deck and game set (target group: children aged 6+, adults and families)

The new Ice Age game set and the Ice Age deck of regular poker cards are perfectly suited for an entertaining family evening or a quick game in the factory canteen. Popular card games like Crazy Eights, Assano, Rummy, Poker, Skat, and many other games can be played with these cards to put everyone in the right mood for the eagerly awaited Ice Age movie event. 55 cards sized 63 x 88 mm come in a folding box at a SRP of 3.50 Euros. With the newly designed Ice Age game set up to four players try to be the first to find their way through icy terrain to the correct target card. The game is comprised of 65 cards, sold in a slip lid box at a SRP of 6.50 Euros. Cool play fun for the whole family – and especially for all fans of Ice Age.
