New range offers Twice the Mischief and Twice the Fun for fans of the world’s most famous cat and mouse duo

Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA has appointed Giochi Preziosi Spa to be the official master toy licensee for Tom and Jerry in Western Europe and Turkey.

The world-renowned international toy manufacturer and distributor has signed a 3-year deal with the licensor that will see them produce a comprehensive toy range that encapsulates all the mischief, fun, chaos and laughter and of the world’s most famous cat and mouse duo.

Hero products from Giochi Preziosi’s range will include basic ‘Classic Chaos’ and deluxe ‘Tag Team’ figure assortments, ‘Madness Mayhem’ play sets and ‘Whack and Win’ action games. The European roll out will commence in Q4 2012 and will continue throughout 2013.

Tom and Jerry are as popular as ever despite it being more than 70 years since the broadcast of their first animated short. Cartoon Network and Boomerang broadcast the animation across the whole of Europe and regionally specific partners include Italia 1 in Italy, France 3 in France, TVE and Boing in Spain, kabel 1 in Germany, Cartoonito in the UK, the STAR channel in Greece, Puls in Poland and Ren TV in Russia all of whom ensure daily exposure for the brand that has resulted in massive, renewed demand for licensed products. Demand that Giochi Preziosi is positioned to capitalise upon when its product line takes Europe by storm later this year!

Warner Bros. Consumer Products is also now looking to expand the pre-school toy line into other markets with high Tom & Jerry demand including Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Nordics and beyond through local distributors.
