HIT Entertainment, one of the world’s leading providers of high quality children’s entertainment and a division of Fisher-Price, has partnered with Nick Brooke Ltd and BOS Productions Ltd to produce ‘Angelina Ballerina: The Mousical’, the first ever live musical stage show for the brand in the UK. The tour launches this week and over the coming months will visit 24 theatres nationwide.
Based on the award-winning children’s book series by author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, ‘Angelina Ballerina: The Mousical’ will see the world famous mouseling perform live on stage in an all singing and dancing musical show, transporting audiences to Chipping Cheddar as Angelina and friends discover that Camembert Academy has won the opportunity to appear in their favourite television programme ‘Dancing with Mice!’ |
The stage show will receive extensive marketing and PR support, including a unique initiative whereby local dance schools from each touring region will be invited to enter the ‘Mousical Draw’ to win the chance to take part in the live show.
The launch of ‘Angelina Ballerina: The Mousical’ in the UK follows on from the successful, critically acclaimed US musical stage show, which launched in New York City in Autumn 2010 and continues its run to this day.
