French Connection Launches A New Batman T-Shirt Collection For Men With First Line Inspired By The Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK (WBCP UK) announces a partnership with leading high street fashion retailer French Connection as they launch a new Batman t-shirt collection for men. The first line of the collection is inspired by The Dark Knight Rises.

Available now in French Connection stores worldwide (excluding Canada) and online at www.frenchconnection.com, the launch of the first collection will coincide with the release of The Dark Knight Rises, the highly anticipated final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, which hits cinema screens beginning 20 July 2012.

French Connection’s first range in the Batman T-shirt collection uses artwork from The Dark Knight Rises, as well as DC Originals and DC Batman. The line caters to all fans, whether you’re a hardcore comic book fan, a Batman movie buff or simply love the style and heritage of the timeless DC Comics artwork.

French Connection will be supporting the launch of the new collection with significant above-the-line marketing support. It will include an amazing window installation at its Regent Street store that will feature original The Dark Knight Rises Batman, Catwoman and Bane costumes (on 16 and 17 July only), a 3-D screen projecting the film trailer with promotional messaging, and the t-shirt collection – all of which will be on display, maximizing the huge passing footfall of this prime London retail location.

 

 

French Connection is also running an in-store promotion in 67 UK stores beginning 2nd July 2012 until 29th July 2012 where customers can enter a competition to win a pair of tickets to the European premiere of The Dark Knight Rises in London. Additionally, the 67 specially selected stores will feature A6 show cards and window vinyls will be a key feature in 27 retail outlets nationwide. The in-store activity will be supported by online and social media activity including 3 email banners, which will be emailed to French Connections full consumer database, and via Facebook and Twitter outreach.
