After winning the hearts of children in the UK, Bumpeez are now set to take France and Benelux by storm as Glow Europe launches the hugely successful pocket money toy into French retail outlets on 24th August and across Benelux on 1st September. Glow Europe, Brand Manager, Chris Clover comments “Bumpeez were an instant success when they launched in the UK last year and went on to become the bestselling collectable at its price point. France and Benelux will spearhead the roll out of Bumpeez across Europe as we look to replicate its success in new markets.” Glow has secured strong retail distribution for Bumpeez in both territories which spans toy trades, newsagents and grocers. Retailers on board in France include Toys R Us, Auchan, Carrefour, E.LeClerq, Cora, Geant Casino and King Jouet. In Benelux confirmed retailers include Blokker, Marskramer, Bart Smit and Intertoys. The firm is also investing in a heavyweight above the line marketing campaign to support the launch and drive consumer awareness. Marketing plans include national television advertising with Nickelodeon and Disney XD for Benelux and TF1, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Gulli and Boomerang for France. Both territories will also benefit from print advertising, online marketing, national PR, magazine cover-mounts as well as a national Golden Bumpee competition to generate excitement around launch. |
