The company has recently strengthened its position on the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector with new licensing food deals to promote the international property Maya the Bee. The new upcoming high-quality series produced in CGI (78 x 13’) has convinced key food players to become brand ambassadors for Maya the Bee in the food category.

RIO Licensing, the appointed agent of Studio 100 in Russia, has signed a licensing agreement for Maya the Bee with a top confectionary player in Russia, Perfetti Van Melle, the multinational group that also owns the international and mythical brand, Chupa Chups. Developing Maya the bee license on its two strong brands Chupa Chups and Fruit-tella, the group will design various ranges of lollipops, chocolate balls with surprises, as well as frutos candies. Products should be launched between the end of 2012 and Q1 2013. These products will be presented in the cash desk zones in large retail chains of Russia (Perekrestok, Sed'moy Continent etc.) to provide perfect exposure and positively influence turnover. Active negotiations for the deals in other product categories will be carried out during the autumn of 2012 and most deals will be closed by the end of 2012. |

Belgian Ice Cream Group the historical ice cream partner of Studio 100 in Belgium will introduce Maya ice cream in the CEE market in Q2 2013. Currently sold in Benelux, the Maya ice cream will be soon introduced in Germany as well as in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. |
