ZDF Enterprises is to handle the worldwide distribution of the new pre-school series ‘Q Pootle 5’ (52 x 11’) from Snapper Productions. Based on the books by multi-million selling author and illustrator Nick Butterworth, the series follows the friendly alien Q Pootle 5, and his friends as they tackle the every day problems of the final frontier on their home planet of Okidoki. Nick Butterworth is co-founder of Snapper Productions and executive producer of the series, which is being made entirely in the UK, with animation by BAFTA award winning studio Blue Zoo. The show has been pre-sold to CBeebies in the UK with other territories expected to be announced shortly.
