Turner CN Enterprises Outlines Exciting New Licensing Opportunities At BLE 2012

Turner CN Enterprises - October 2012

Turner CN Enterprises today reveals its most exciting plans yet for the impending Brand Licensing Show. The licensor and broadcaster will host property updates for its proven audience hits, Ben 10 Omniverse, Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, LazyTown and digital brand Toonix.

As well as its biggest show floor presence to-date and brand new stand (Booth #E070), Turner and its strategic property partners will return to the Gallery Suite where they’ll present brand updates exclusively throughout the show.

Turner will also showcase the opportunities available through partnerships with the company’s in-house ad sales division, Turner Media Innovations (TMI), linked to a number of the company’s 19 branded channels in 26 languages, over 100 territories. Brands already taking advantage of Turner’s unique tailored licensing solutions include the Ben 10 franchise – which now boasts over $4 billion in retail sales to-date, a figure set to rise in light of its best-selling Omniverse toy range recently launched by Bandai.

“The next 12 months promise to be very exciting for us and for our partners”, said Alan Fenwick, VP, Turner CN Enterprises, commenting on this year’s BLE plans. “Our TV networks and our exciting portfolio of TV brands have never been stronger. Our proven ability to build bespoke licensing solutions that leverage the combined skills of our organisation for retail impact, resonates with our partners. We look forward to sharing the opportunities available at BLE this year.”

Turner will be highlighting exciting opportunities for comedy brand Adventure Time, another proven global toy and licensing success, which is now launching across EMEA at retail this Q4. Similarly, the global award-winning new hit show The Amazing World of Gumball now boasts a plethora of signed licensees which Turner expects to build upon at BLE, given the news that the show has been green-lit for a further series. Turner will also be unveiling brand new licensing acquisitions in the boys and pre-school space, exclusively at BLE 2012.

The brand new series of LazyTown will launch in Spring 2013 across Turner’s Boomerang and Cartoonito TV networks throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. With global free-to-air and pay TV partners already on board and over one million products sold annually, the biggest global health brand for kids will reveal how the new series and licensing strategy will build on its 20 years of proven success. Bananas in Pyjamas and Jelly Jamm will also have new series launches across Cartoonito and free-to-air channels across EMEA.
