The Kazachok Licensing Forum celebrates its 10th Birthday

For 10 years now the Kazachok Licensing Forum has been the meeting place for key licensing actors from all over the world. The Forum is an opportunity to discover over 2,500 brands, 80 exhibitors and meet 1,800 attendees. Over 2 days, visitors will learn about novelties and licensing trends of coming season thanks to conferences, networking and private pitching sessions conducted by different exhibitors during which they unveil their licensing strategies for the next years to come. Licensing is everywhere and during an economic crisis it prompts more business as well as development.

Licensing is a captivating topic that interests companies and buyers alike. Indeed, the latest developments, promotions and events of the brands present involve different fields and different targets. Licensing can be considered under a marketing POV or an economic POV and it evidently helps to anticipate on trends in order to meet buyers’ expectations head on.

A Fair unlike others…

 

The Forum isn’t your typical trade fair because first and foremost it’s a networking tool. The event is organized in such a way that visitors and exhibitors exchange, discuss, learn to know each other and find out how they can work together. Our goal is to make it easy for the actors of the licensing market to interact and provide advice on the development of their licensing strategy by offering a finely tuned conference program and pitching sessions. During these sessions that require prior registration, exhibitors unveil their upcoming strategy. Furthermore there are numerous events that take place during the Forum to add a warm and friendly touch. Visitors and exhibitors can set up appointments or contact each other before the Forum begins because we provide the necessary contact details. Exhibitors have a personal account on the Forum’s website where they can access the complete list of visitors *. After a successful test in 2012, the Kazachok Licensing Forum will again be featuring the Kazachok Licensing Gallery, our exclusive version of a multi-category showroom dedicated to distributors. The visiting concept is unique: visit, scan, contact! The showroom’s introduction was widely acclaimed by buyers and licensees who appreciated the products’ valorization and representation. In 2013 buyers will discover a new organization of the products by brand/property. The range of products staged by Artistic Director Thierry Virvaire will be large and complete: an efficient way for buyers to see products in situation in order to fulfill their needs relevantly.

Agency Brands Dating

 

During its 10th Edition the Kazachok Licensing Forum is launching a new feature : the Agency Brands Dating is an event dedicated to communication, promotion, advertising and marketing agencies. During a lunch held on Thursday April 18th from 12.30 to 2pm a number of exhibitors will introduce their brand novelties and unveil possible promotions they can offer their advertising partners. The goal is to heighten the awareness of agencies as to the opportunities that these new growth tool represent to « gobsmacK » their advertisers.

About the 2012 edition:

  • 2 500 brands / 1 800 attendees / 80 exhibitors / 18 nationalities
  • A key conferences program: Licensing in the digital era, Extension of adult brands, Licensing developments for 4 markets, Licensing and Textile.
  • 27 Pitching Sessions (Private presentations during which exhibitors unveil their future strategy): 1 out of 2 visitors attended at least one pitching session / 79% of visitors were satisfied with the schedule of pitching sessions.
