VIPO - the success still going on ...

VIPO TV series on several VoD and IPTV platforms in Korea

VoD rights for both VIPO TV series in Korea were acquired by content aggregator GreenNarae Media Co. Ltd, based in Seoul, and will be placed on several IPTV platforms: Korea Telecom, SK Telecom and LG Telecom. VoD rights were also acquired by Homechoice, a popular Korean VoD platform. The launch is expected by the beginning of 2013. Both TV series have also been regularly broadcast on JEI TV in Korea since 2011.

Empire Film expands VIPO activities in Romania: DVD release, plush distribution and the return of the series to TV screens!

Romanian DVD distributor Empire Film Ltd extended its home entertainment license agreement for VIPO and also acquired the first series “Adventures of the Flying Dog”. The Bucharest based company will launch 5 DVD titles as covermounts with “Gazeta Sporturilor” magazine in January 2013. Prior to this campaign, VIPO will return to TV screens in Romania on Prima TV, starting on December 1st in a daily program slot with two runs per day. Simultaneous to the TV broadcast, VIPO plush toys will be presented in retail outlets such as Carefour, MediaGalaxy, Altex, Cora or Auchan during this Christmas Season.

Al Jazeera Children’s Channel acquires TV rights for VIPO 2

JCCTV (“Al Jazeera Children’s Channel”) acquired Free TV rights for the 2nd VIPO TV series “Surviving Time Island with VIPO & Friends”. The TV station operates from Doha/Qatar and will broadcast the program in 22 countries in the MENA region in Arabic language, starting early in 2013. The first TV series “Adventures of the Flying Dog” has also been aired on JCCTV and Baraem TV in the past: a re-launch of VIPO 1 is expected in 2013 as well.
