Ice elves and winged beauties
Schleich introduces further new additions to the popular World of Fantasy for its 2013 range and reveals an all-new series: the ice elves.
Sweet-natured elves, friendly mythical creatures and otherworldly magical beings live together in nature-loving harmony. In conjuring up bayala, Schleich became the first toymaker to bring the fantasy segment onto the market.
This year the existing range welcomes various new arrivals, including the ice elves. From September these snow white figurines will whisk children into a kingdom of ice crystals and snowflakes. After making themselves even prettier in front of the mirror (made from actual mirrored foil), the elves are carried off into the white wonderland by a magnificent adaptable ice sleigh ready for new adventures in bayala.
The new butterfly elves, meanwhile, will be here as early as January 2013 to stir up a dreamy new world for girls across the land. These lovingly modelled figurines sit on horses adorned with flowers and recall wondrous butterflies with their array of colour and delicate wings.
End of 2012 the Swabian company started to support their popular play world with an effective TV campaign in Germany. Airing in child-appropriate time slots on Super RTL, the costly TV spot promotes the love of nature as the linking element between children and the fantastic world of bayala. It reached 8 million children of the relevant target demographic (girls aged between 5 and 10).
