Starting from social networks and through traditional publishing, Shortology lands in the world of licensing, opening up to many creative possibilities. The operation was created in collaboration with CLA, Caldarelli Licensing Agency (worldwide exclusive).

Shortology, vision and brand born of the Milan-based creative studio H-57, is a typical example of the potential of creativity combined with the power of the web.

Born as an online phenomenon, Shortology is the more concise representation possible - through the use of few and essential graphical icons – of biographies, historical events, movies, inventions, social phenomena and pretty much anything else. From the history of Michael Jackson to the Lord of the Rings one, and from the Football World Cup to Barack Obama. All with a sharp and well defined humor and taking the essence of each topic.

After an initial success on the web, the short stories of Shortology have spread very quickly on social networks and became a book, published so far in the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan and Korea, and a Facebook page with over 10,000 fans.

Now, the stories of Shortology open to the infinite possibilities of licensing, thanks to a worldwide agreement with CLA, which is a company specialized in the development of projects for licensing, co-branding and communication activities especially related to contemporary art.

 

From t-shirts to household goods, from posters to any other form of support, Shortology’s creativity - concise and universal (since words are not needed, only pictures) - lends itself perfectly to the most different forms.

From current events to music “classics”, cinema and art, each topic is likely to be represented in a funnny and surprising way by the amazing icons of Shortology.
