Masterful stand-up, actor and presenter Ed Byrne is to host The Licensing Awards 2013, which will take place on September 10th in The Great Room of London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel.

Ed is considered unrivalled on the comedy circuit, performing internationally in Canada, Australia and New Zealand along with three hit UK tours to name but a few. Renowned for being the voice of The Carphone Warehouse commercials, Ed has also made numerous TV appearances including Live At The Apollo, Big Brother’s Little Brother, Father Ted and Children In Need. Ian Hyder, director of The Licensing Awards and The Licensing Source Book (which owns and organises the Awards) commented: “Ed Byrne is the perfect host for The Awards, a charming comedian at the top of his game who will be sure to make it a night to remember!"
