Warner Bros. Consumer Products announces partnership with Highscore Music,
who will release seven elaborate audio versions of Batman’s "Gotham Knight" and "Inferno" starting in Fall 2013

Finally, the wait is over and for fans the announcement is simply sensational: Highscore Music will release seven Batman audio productions to set new standards in cooperation with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. This has been the first release of new audio books in Germany for two decades. The first three elaborately produced audio books about the Batman stories “Gotham Knight” and “Inferno” will be released in September and October 2013. |
For decades Batman has been one of the most famous super heroes in the DC Universe, who inspired Millions of fans worldwide and across all age groups. He has become a global icon of the entertainment industry over several generations and one of the most successful brands of all times.

The particular narrative form of comics, which served as a basis for the audio books, is extended with cinematic sound designs and an elaborate soundtrack which literally sounds like a Hollywood blockbuster. Every two weeks in September "Gotham Knight”, the first Batman story, will release as a series of three audio book episodes. At the end of the year the first two episodes of the second Batman story "Inferno" will follow, which will be finished with two more episodes in the beginning of 2014. The famous voice-over artist Sascha Rotermund speaks the main character and cult voice Jürgen Thormann, the German voice of Batman’s butler Alfred, will also be on board.
