Warner Bros. Consumer Products 2013

Warner Bros. Consumer Products - August 2013

Warner Bros. brands are set to be the heroes of Brand Licensing Europe 2013 as they return to the show with a line up of epic proportions.

The DC Comics franchise leads the charge with new licensing opportunities for Batman and Superman. On the heels of the worldwide success of “Man of Steel,” director Zack Snyder is bringing together the two greatest Super Heroes of all time—Batman and Superman—for the first time on the big screen with an anticipated release date in Summer 2015.

The latest instalment in the award winning Batman Arkham video game series, an all-new animated series Beware The Batman and the character-driven, comedy-action show, Teen Titans GO will form part of the presentation slate whilst WBCP will be updating the industry on its DC Hello Kitty partnership with Sanrio.

2014 is another standout year for tent pole films with the launch of Godzilla (May 2014) and the final movie in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit Trilogy with The Hobbit: There and Back Again; which hits cinema screens in December 2014. WB Studio’s television properties also provide major commercial opportunities for visitors to the show as preparations are made for the 20th anniversary of Friends in 2014 and US sitcom the Big Bang Theory continues to smash TV ratings and make waves at retail.

Finally there’s no place like home for classic animated properties and movies. WBCP will demonstrate its continued commitment to supporting its evergreen brands Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry and iconic movies, including The Wizard of Oz which celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2014, will also feature on the bill as WBCP demonstrates how the studio’s dedication to unique content and partnerships with esteemed licensees is attracting new generations of loyal fans and accelerating demand for licensed products.
