Masha and the Bear now in Germany Brand Licensing Europe - September 2013

 
The most popular family show in Russia will be aired on KIKA

Animaccord Animation Studios announced that Masha and the Bear will be furthering their conquest of the European market, by debuting in Germany this fall.

Being well-known for its all-round appealing humor and absolutely stunning HD quality, the story of Masha and the Bear inspired the leading channel for kids to launch an extensive distribution. KIKA’s audience will enjoy the series all week long from November 18th.

The DVD collection will perfectly complete broadcasting of the series on KiKA.
Sony Music has acquired the rights to distribute 26 fully dubbed episodes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Alto-Adige and German-speaking part of Luxembourg.

As a result of its style and universal humor Masha and The Bear is the first Russian animation brand that speaks to children all over the world. The animated series is currently hugely popular. Every 7-minute high-quality 3D CGI animated episode includes original music and songs and the series is largely played out through action with little dialog making it easy for children around the world to understand. Series has been dubbed into German, French, English and Spanish.

To date, licensing program has more than 100 licensees covering more than 50 product groups. Masha and The Bear is the only Russian brand that many leading international companies choose to launch their products in Russia and CIS. As an example, Ferrero enjoyed an incredible success using Masha and the Bear for Kinder Surprise, Kinder Mix, Kinder Pingui and Nutella. Panini Group chose Masha to publish their famous sticker albums in Russia and CIS.

Masha and the Bear will be represented at MipJunior, MipCOM and at BLE in London (booth #D080).
