The Toy Industry Association (TIA) and media company Engage Digital announced today that the 8th Annual Digital Kids® Conference will co-locate once again with the American International Toy Fair in February 2014 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
Taking place February 18-19, the two-day Digital Kids Conference will address important new strategies, valuable tools, and marketplace insight that will enable youth-focused media professionals to create best-selling digital toys, games and media services for kids.
“The Digital Kids Conference will once again be a terrific complement to the many educational and networking opportunities already present at Toy Fair,” said Marian Bossard, TIA vice president of meetings and events. “From exhibiting manufacturers to visiting licensors, brand owners and entertainment executives, Toy Fair’s diverse audience of 30,000+ guests will benefit from having access to this additional, tech-focused educational programming on-site at the Javits Center.”
“The Digital Kids Conference is a must-attend event for brand owners, entertainment and media executives, marketers, producers, digital media directors and licensing professionals who are committed to growing their businesses in the highly competitive digital media environment,” added Christopher Sherman, conference founder. “From panel discussions about innovative product design, to insider views on lucrative marketing techniques and successful monetization strategies, the content at this year’s event will be presented by dozens of expert speakers who will share their best tips for navigating current challenges in the digital media environment.”
The partnership between the two shows will provide all Toy Fair attendees with access to the Digital Kids Conference; TIA members will receive reduced rates to attend the sessions. Digital Kids attendees will gain access to the Toy Fair show floor, where they will be among the first to view 150,000 hot new toys and games on display by 1,000+ innovative toy companies.
The largest toy and youth product trade show in the Western hemisphere, Toy Fair 2014 will be held from Sunday, February 16 to Wednesday, February 19. Toy Fair will not only showcase the year’s most innovative new products – it will also include a robust educational program designed to help toy inventors and designers, licensors, independent and specialty retailers, and many more constituents grow their businesses, comply with new safety requirements, identify the biggest toy trends of the year, and much more.
The Digital Kids Conference will overlap with Toy Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 18-19. Previously called Engage! Expo, the Digital Kids® Conference co-located with Toy Fair in 2010, 2011 and 2013. For more information, visit DigitalKidsCon.com. To learn more about Toy Fair, visit ToyFairNY.com
