Studio 100 International Signs New Represantative Agent For Maya The Bee In Israel

Studio 100 International, the International licensing and merchandising division within the Studio 100 Group, is pleased to announce that it has secured Point of View as its new representative licensing agent in Israel to help the company build the Maya the Bee brand further in the region.

 

The deal, which has already seen Point of View sign Magnum as its first apparel licensee, will see Point of View focus on closing new licensing deals with other licensee partners in Israel including toys and games, apparel, publishing back to school, furnishing, promotions and many more. This will add to the existing 15 partners that Studio 100 International already has in place for Maya the Bee in Israel including master toy partner IMC and Clasikaletet as a publishing partner.

The CGI animated series of Maya the Bee is already hugely popular with TV audiences in Israel, airing four times a day and seven days a week on HOP!, and to reflect the success of the series, Studio 100 is keen branch out on a bigger scale and bring further licensing partners on board to help position Maya the Bee as a top brand in Israel.

Nurit Tishler, Director of Point of View, will be responsible for leading the team on securing new licensing partners for Studio 100 International, and says: “Point of View is planning to build Maya the Bee so she becomes one of the most beloved characters in Israel - our team loves the brand and is dedicated to its success.”

The agreement with Point of View is due to run until December 2015.

Produced by Studio 100 Animation in France, Maya the Bee in CGI has already been sold in 134 territories worldwide and its international presence continues to grow. In 2014, a feature film Maya the Bee - Movie in stereoscopic 3D will also be launching in worldwide cinemas giving children and their parents the chance to see their favourite TV character on the big screen.
