Throughout October Snoopy stopped by various social facilities to visit lots of children. The little ones had a joyful and unforgettable day with the star of the PEANUTS. 23 kindergartens in 12 cities were on the tour-plan of the most popular Beagle in the World.

For the fourth time Snoopy travelled through Germany to visit facilities supported by the renowned German charity organization BILD hilft e.V. “Ein Herz für Kinder” (“A heart for children”). Everywhere Snoopy left a trail of happy faces and created a fun atmosphere. The full fledged, fun join-in-show always began with the children being able to cuddle with the beagle to their heart’s content and brush his soft fur. With a wake-up song and a cheerful Boogie woogie, everyone was immediately in a fun mood. All the kids danced to Snoopy’s motions, stretching their arms and legs out in rhythm to the music. Then children and teachers even joined in on a polonaise through their nursery.

Snoopy was very pleased about the enthusiasm with which he was greeted with, the huge participation as well as the numerous pictures and self-made presents he received. To give everyone something to remember him by and to show his gratitude, he said thanks with a bag full of souvenirs: picture books, calendars, puzzles and audio story telling books in Snoopy-design made the kid’s hearts beat faster!

“This year Snoopy visited Kindergartens in big cities like Hamburg, Berlin and Essen, as well as going to facilities in smaller towns like Langenfeld, Overath und Oetzen and this way the tour reached an entirely new depth.” Gerold Kolenbrander, CEO of Team! Licensing commented. „Especially in the more rural areas Snoopy was greeted with particular enthusiasm.” Before the tour, PEANUTS coloring pages pictures were sent to the Kindergartens to create more anticipation. Throughout the tour accompanying brochures were distributed with fun and interesting information for kids and parents to read about Snoopy and PEANUTS as well as explaining the wonderful work of “Ein Herz für Kinder”.

Snoopy, the cute, keen and energetic Beagle of the PEANUTS gang is an iconic character and as cheerful and bright as his visit should be for the kids, as serious is the motivation behind Snoopy´s and PEANUTS´s engagement for the good cause in order to support BILD hilft e.V. „Ein Herz für Kinder“.

This charity activity started in 2010, the 60th anniversary of PEANUTS. PEANUTS, themselves children, also reflect the world’s problems. And we all know the world is full of problems. One of the most renowned and respected charity organization supporting children in need is BILD hilft e.V. „Ein Herz für Kinder“. Thanks to motivated partners, Snoopy and PEANUTS were able to collect donations for the good cause in the last years which supported many beneficial projects.
