 Filly soars into 2014 with Filly Butterfly

 

Dracco, the inventor, developer and manufacturer of the top-selling Filly, is proud to announce the brand's newest line for 2014, Filly Butterfly. Launching at the start of the year with regular releases each season, Filly Butterfly promises to delight and captivate consumers of all ages with colorful, enchanting characters and their beautiful translucent wings. All Filly Butterfly figurines feature at least one Swarovski crystal element and have golden crowns and velvety-soft flocking.

Dracco and Universal Trends will present Filly Butterfly to the market in January during the 2014 Hong Kong Toy Fair and at International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

A robust television ad campaign and point-of-sale in-store marketing will introduce consumers to Filly Butterfly, while a strong digital component will allow them to engage with the characters in their magical garden home on Filly.com. Each single-figure foil bag includes an online code for a virtual gift.

Adding even more magic to the Filly world is the new HD 3-D animated series Filly Funtasia, consisting of 26 half-hour episodes to be completed in 2014 and aired on TV and transmedia worldwide. The series follows the adventures of Filly friends at a school for magic.

The show was previewed at the recent international television market MIPCOM in Cannes and at the Brand Licensing Europe show in London and received a very positive response. A full global launch plan and international broadcast partnerships will be announced soon. Dracco is also investing in the development of apps, games and multimedia content across all platforms to enhance the experience for girls in every way possible.

Filly is consistently ranked the #1 girls' toy license on the NPD charts and was #3 in the overall market for toys, in October 2013. To date, Filly figurines have sold over 65 million units worldwide and fans eagerly await news of the latest series.

Take a walk on the zombie side!

 

No town or toy store is immune to the infectious fun of Zombie Zity's wacky, wobbling zombies! The recent launch of this exciting new brand is receiving zombie-riffic feedback from retailers and consumers in multiple markets worldwide based on the overall strength of the broad product line and its unique outlook and multi-platform brand strategy.

In the little town of Zombie Zity, two sides have drawn their battle lines. Mayor Miserly has turned every resident into a zombie in hopes of controlling them, and it's up to Diesel Dan and his fearless friends to stop the Mayor and his minions.

Positioned for monstrous growth with a full line of toys and collectibles, Zombie Zity includes over 70 unique characters, figurines, playsets and trading cards. The toy range features two innovative categories of Zombie Zity zitizens: Swobblerz, 12 bobble-headed figures with interchangeable body parts to make kooky new characters and Bouncerz, 48 micro-sized, mega-bouncing figures that spookily spring nearly 10 meters high.

Launching in January 2014, the official bi-monthly Zombie Zity magazine will be packaged with a Zombie Zity Bouncerz figurine, along with a zombie-themed, story-related second novelty. The brand's compelling storyline provides rich content for games, puzzles, comics and contests in the magazine.

The brand hit the market with strong TVC campaigns, a robust interactive online experience and an app game, while a CGI animation is in development.

More zitizens are joining the madness in Zombie Zity, including Leomil, who will produce a line of Zombie Zity footware and apparel. Additionally, Dracco is happy to announce a licensing deal has been signed with Herding to manufacture Zombie Zity bedding. Many more licensees are coming to the Zity to be a part of this kid-friendly brand that appeals to boys and girls of all ages.
