Plants vs. Zombies Picks Up Brace of New Partners

Global smash-hit gaming brand Plants vs. Zombies™ – represented across Europe by Bulldog Licensing – has scored two brand new licensing deals. Joining a growing list of top licensees in the UK, Smith & Brooks are coming on board for apparel and Portico for greetings cards, wrap and tags.

 

Plants vs. Zombies is the hit action game that requires players to stop a family-friendly fun-dead horde by using of a host of zombie-zapping plants that each have their own special powers. A combination of strategy and quick thinking is needed to keep the reanimated raiders at bay and the game’s mixture of endearing characters,funny surprises and quality gameplay is irresistible to gamers.

There are now two mobile games in the chart-topping franchise, with the original Plants vs. Zombies title achieving more than 140m installs. The record-breaking Plants vs. Zombies 2 hit the market in the summer and proved an instant success with players and critics around the world and the franchise’s Facebook game plays host to over a million players a month. The brand’s fan page boasts over 10.6m followers and a massive launch is planned for the Spring 2014 debut of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare on console.

The new partners add to a strong programme that includes K'Nex for construction toys, Character Options for plush and toys, Penguin for a publishing range, Titan for magazines, Magic Box for sticker books, Character World for homewares, A4T for digital peripherals, Cooneen for nightwear and underwear and GB Eye for posters.
