Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Partners with 3A for Collectible Killzone™ Figures

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has partnered with leading toy and collectible merchandise company, 3A, for a line of official limited edition figurines based on its popular PlayStation® exclusive Killzone™ videogame franchise.

 

The 12.5inch (31cm) tall fully articulated Hazmat Trooper figure, due to launch Q3 2014, will feature the character’s signature Helghast light-up red eyes and intricate detailing will closely replicate the powerful armour and weaponry of the iconic Killzone™ character. Retailing at $160, the figure will also come complete with two sets of interchangeable hands for posing with or without StA-5X Arc Cannon weapon, which is also included with four movable pistons.

Lauded for its artistic and technological achievements, the Killzone™ series eschews the laser and spacesuit sensibilities of other sci-fi shooters – opting instead for a gritty, realistic look best described as ‘World War II in space’. Its main antagonists, the Helghast, have become gaming icons for their dehumanizing gas masks and ominous red goggles.
