Mia and me® – The Ride celebrates world premiere at the opening of the Yumble theme park

Europe’s biggest indoor theme park Yumble opened on March 21st 2015, including its biggest attraction, a 3D darkride based on the successful TV-series “Mia and me”.

 

On March 21st 2015, Europe’s most advanced indoor theme park Yumble opened its doors to public, with “Mia and me®” – The Ride being its biggest and most stunning attraction. In this 3D darkride visitors dive into the fantastic world of Centopia and meet all the popular characters from the successful TV-series.

„Mia and me®“ – The Ride was created by Yumble’s operating company Brand New Leisure, Amsterdam, in close collaboration with the brand management and media company m4e AG and the production company Hahn & m4e Productions. The darkride remains close the the TV-series, when 6 visitors have to defeat Munculus soldiers and safe the unicorns during the ca. 4-minute ride. While doing this, they pass six different 3D scenes on huge screens with up to eight meters heigth. The scenes are created by using state-of-the-art technology, the visitors are interactively integrated into the current happenings so no two rides are the same.

The Yumble was created by Brand New Leisure and is located next to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond, The Netherlands, which attracts up to 5.3 million visitors per year. On 9,000 m² visitors can be inspired and enchanted by a unique program of attractions, which can’t be found in this form anywhere else in Europe. Yumble is already considered a spectacular innovation in the entertainment world.

Thanks to the favorable location, the Yumble accesses a huge consumer market. In the Netherlands, in Germany and in Belgium, approximately 17 million people are living less than one hour car-ride away from the Yumble. For the first year, visitor projections are up to 300,000 to 350,000 persons.

 

“Mia and me®” is a production of Hahn & m4e Productions GmbH (formerly Lucky Punch GmbH) – a joint venture between m4e AG and Gerhard Hahn. The series is co-produced by Rainbow S.r.l., Italy, and German ZDF Television Network. Broadcast of new season 2 is going to start in spring 2015 in Germany and many other territories.
