About the Brand
History behind the brand Debbie Howard created Popcorn the Bear in 2004 from a passion for bears and since then this exciting brand has gone from strength to strength. Aimed at pre-schoolers, the focus of the Brand is on emotional learning - to instil confidence, encourage sharing and to deal with feelings of anger, sadness and other emotions - together with learning values. How has the brand performed to date There are several illustrated books about his adventures with a new Imagination series of books being Debbie is co-writing with Bill Schultz (Home Plate Entertainment). A beautiful range of books has been published for pre-schoolers and the merchandise programme covers a number of other product categories. WW Group are developing a range of babywear and pre-school apparel including Outwear, Underwear, Nightwear. An animation series is also in development. Future plans Key product categories for us are toys, apparel and publishing.
