Rainbow has announced a new promotional collaboration with the CitizenKid website in France that will see some Winx Club magic sprinkled across Paris Fair – the French capital’s annual city-wide celebration. CitizenKid is a popular and very successful website that lets kids and parents know about fun and exciting activities and events taking place in cities across France. With 254,000 unique visitors per month and 160,000 opt-in subscribers, it’s a big — and growing — reference resource for French families. Many of the kids using CitizenKid are Winx Club fans, or from the Winx Club demographic. On the first day of the fair, April 29th, Winx Club made an appearance on the free CitizenKid bus that carried families to the activities. A real Winx fairy (Bloom) welcomed fans on board and posed for pictures, whilst girls were able to have a Winx makeover as they traveled. The fun doesn’t end there – on May 6th there will be a special Winx Club animation area in operation, where families can go to watch Winx Club, meet their heroines and dance in a special Winx Club disco! |
Winx Club and CitizenKid will also team up at fairs in other French cities throughout the summer, including Nantes, Bordeaux and Marseilles.
