Rainbow, the content powerhouse that is behind some of the world’s top kids brands, will be present on stand R181 at the forthcoming Las Vegas Licensing Expo. The studio has chosen to showcase three new animated series with huge licensing potential: these are Winx series 7, Mia and me series 2, and a brand new show with a working title of Royal Academy. |
Winx Club series 7 carries on the theme of recent Winx releases by carrying a strong environmental message. In this adventure the fairies discover the real importance of the rare Fairy Animals, which they must save from Kalshara, an evil shape-shifter and her clumsy brother, Brafilius. The theme of endangered animals recurs throughout the series as the Winx establish an Animal Rescue Park on Earth, where they look after vulnerable animals such as pandas and tigers. The girls also undertake missions in the Magic Dimension and Earth to raise public awareness about the animal cause. This builds to their final mission – to discover the ultimate power of the Fairy Animals, which can give control over all the animals of the Magic Universe. |

Royal Academy is a hilarious and exciting new take on some of our best-loved fairy tales and focuses on the adventures of Rose Cinderella, a normal girl who suddenly she finds herself in the world of Fairy Tales where she discovers that Cinderella is… her granny! Rose is enrolled at the fabled Royal Academy where her fellow students include Hawk SnowWhite, Travis Beast, Astoria Rapunzel and Hope LeFrog, all of them belonging to the school founding families. This sparkling new series asks the question - what would you do if you had the opportunity to live in the world of Fairy Tales? |
Mia and me is the award-winning co-production with Lucky Punch GmbH/M4e that chronicles the adventures of 12-year old Mia in the magical land of Centopia and mixes live action with CGI animation. The eagerly anticipated second series features brand new characters, in both the real world and Centopia, and sees Mia facing fresh challenges during her adventures. This will add to the licensing appeal of this top brand. |
