Rainbow and Pubcoder come together for new interactive eBook Series BRANDORA Editorial Staff - December 2015

 
Leading European Studio Rainbow has teamed up with PubCoder, the innovative digital publishing solution for the launch of Read&Play, a new series of digital interactive ebooks available on iBook Store and Google Play.

The first e-book "The Enchanted Concert" can be downloaded for free on smartphones and tablets from www.winxclub.com/en/read-play, the following e-books are available at €2,99.

The new series includes ten interactive books dedicated to the adventures of the Winx, and is aimed at young kids who will enjoy interacting with the ebooks by completing puzzles and applying virtual stickers, colouring and drawing, singing karaoke and customizing Winx’s wardrobe and hairstyles.
The ebooks are available in English and Italian. Each ebook is a story of friendship, adventure with a twist, with sound effects and animation, and a lot of special content coming directly from the magical world of Winx.
The technology developed by PubCoder allows children to, among other functions, save the actions performed on a page when completed and listen to the stories read by an actress. It is one of the first experiments in EPUB3 format, which represents the new frontier of the digital book.
