Megan Wain will provide support across Rocket’s growing portfolio of brands
Independent licensing company Rocket Licensing has announced the appointment of Megan Wain as its new Licensing Coordinator.
In her new post Megan will provide marketing support and coordination across Rocket’s growing portfolio of brands in order to ensure the efficient running of the team and effective working with partners and clients. She will be involved in marketing duties within Rocket, including creating sales and marketing presentations, liaising with partners, helping to facilitate events for brands and undertaking office administration and support, as well as research duties. She will report directly to Rocket’s Joint MDs, Rob Wijeratna and Charlie Donaldson.
This is Megan’s first full-time job in licensing. However, she joins Rocket after extensive work experience across a diverse range of licensing and media-focused groups. They include Cartoon Network, LIMA, the British Film Institute, IntoFilm and Sheffield’s Showroom Workstation independent cinema and creative business centre. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015 with a degree in Film Studies.
Megan says: “Helping to manage Rocket’s excellent and diverse portfolio of brands is a great start to any licensing career. I am really excited to be working with this experienced and highly respected team.”
Charlie Donaldson adds: “With her obvious interest in licensing and media, her proven capacity for hard work, and her strong commitment to Rocket’s portfolio, Megan is a welcome addition to our team. We are delighted to welcome her to the Rocket family.”
