New Peanuts TV-series will be released on May 23rd on DVD and Blu-ray

Produced in 2014, the newly animated Peanuts TV-series consists of 500 shorts. In blocks of 7 minutes they tell short stories based on the popular Peanuts cartoons. Starting May 23rd KSM GmbH will release the freshly looking and current animation series to trade.

Peanuts are Charlie Brown, his beagle Snoopy, Woodstock, Lucy, Linus, Sally, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, Marcie and of course the little red haired girl, a little universe of its own, functioning perfectly without any adults. The TV-specials of the 60s and 70s have long achieved cult status. This new, fresh looking, fast paced and up to date animation will be appealing to today’s children. At the same time existing fans will be captured by the unique visuals reminiscent of the classic Peanuts cartoons.

10 DVDs and Blu-rays will be generated by KSM from the 500 shorts that have been produced. They will be released starting 23rd of May on a monthly basis. Easter 2017 will see a high class complete edition as absolute highlight. KSM will support the launch with TV-commercials on Super RTL.
