“Auf zu neuen Ufern” (Race to the Edge) is the name of the next season to the DreamWorks hit series on Hiccup the Viking and his Dragon Academy on the island of Berk. New expeditions beyond the well-known borders of the island world are waiting for fans of the series. The first two seasons “Dragons – Die Reiter von Berk” (Dragons – Riders of Berk) and “Dragons – Die Wächter von Berk” (Defenders of Berk) have been tremendously successful. With their exciting stories on humans and dragons they have continuously been winning over new fans. The first audio play of the third season – “Das Drachenauge” – has been available in retail and to download since 3 June 2016.
Right from the start of the season Hiccup and Toothless have to face an old acquaintance. Dagur the Deranged is back and means nothing but mischief. The villain plans to rebuild his fleet and wipe out the dragon riders once and for all. Hiccup and his friends have to defend themselves and hatch a new plan. And what’s with the mysterious dragon eye?
Another indicator of the immense popularity of the Dragons show is the brand-new theme area at the Heidepark Resort in Soltau. Since 14 May 2016 children and families may visit the exciting theme area DreamWorks “Drachenzähmen – Die Insel”. The unique area provides ample opportunity for an unforgettable dragon experience with multiple theme rides from flying adventures to a Viking’s boat. |
