Character World become Bedi Masters at Star Wars Celebration Europe

International textiles business, Character World exhibited at Star Wars Celebration Europe which took place in London Excel last month.

The three-day event was filled with entertainment, celebrity appearances and shows, as well as exclusive first looks and behind the scenes sneak peeks.

The first European celebration event took place in Essen, Germany in 2013. The event has gone from strength to strength and this year over 50,000 fans, from countries across Europe arrived in their droves dressed as Stormtroopers, Jedi, Sith and Wookies.

Character World’s huge Star Wars product range, proved to be a massive hit with fans with some products selling out on the first day of the event. A Cuddle Robe inspired by the star of The Force Awakens, BB8, was hugely popular with little Padawans as it sold out on day one.

The leading licensing business made sure that its stand didn’t go unnoticed by encouraging fans to tweet selfies of themselves in the Character World BB8 Cuddle Robe to be in with a chance of winning a bundle of Star Wars themed goodies. A huge number of fans took to Twitter and Instagram to get involved using the hashtag, #BB8Selfie.

The full range that Character World showcased at the event included double and single duvets, cushions, towels and cuddle robes.

Character World’s German license portfolio includes LEGO, Minions, Secret Life of Pets, Shopkins, DC Superhero girls, Jurassic World, Peppa Pig, Teletubbies and Bratz.
