Macroscope – what is hiding here?

Carletto - December 2016

Is it a rhino or a pizza?

A peek through the Macroscope reveals a multitude of aspects. Just like the new game from Game Factory – a perfect gift for the whole family that provides lots of fun underneath the Christmas tree. Macroscope comes with a total of 400 objects that have to be guessed right. With each peek you get more information about the object or the creature.

Even assembling the game builds the tension. The image cards with expressive illustrations lie hidden within the Macroscope. A total of twelve spyholes are numbered from 1 to 6 and provide a peek at the object in question. Two dice decide which spyhole you may look through. If you do not want to make a guess, just pass on to the next player. Those who guess wrong, lose valuable crystals. Feel free to doubt the truth of your opponent’s guesses. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The fewer spyholes are opened the more points – yellow or blue crystals – are awarded. After ten rounds the final points will be won. The variant “Risiko” allows you to guess while it’s still your fellow players’ turn.

Macroscope by Martin Nedergaard Andersen is an exciting guessing game. Time and again players have to balance guessing with waiting. Is there anyone who dares to risk losing points? The beautiful illustrations and the multitude of images from countless areas of life make Macroscope an exciting interactive game. The game takes app. 30 minutes and is suitable for adults and children aged 6+. For more information, please visit: www.gamefactory-spiele.com
