Character World has launched a new LEGO Batman range to coincide with the release of the hotly-anticipated The LEGO Batman movie.

The film, featuring a host of big names including Will Arnett, Ralph Fiennes, Channing Tatum, Mariah Carey and Zach Galifianakis, has been a hit with fans around the world. The stars voice all the classic DC characters in animated LEGO form, including Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Bane.

The Manchester-based international textiles business has designed and produced a full LEGO Batman range, including a duvet cover with matching pillow case, a cushion, poncho and fleece blanket. The new range will be available across the UK and Europe in retailers and online.

Tim Kilby, brand director at Character World, said: “Previous LEGO ranges we have released include LEGO Star Wars and The LEGO Movie, which have both been extremely popular with our consumers and we expect the LEGO Batman range to follow suit. The fun and eye-catching designs will be a great addition to young LEGO and Batman fan’s bedroom.”

The new LEGO Batman range joins Character World’s large superhero licensing portfolio including Marvel's Avengers, Spider-man, Captain America and Justice League.

Founded in 1998, Character World works with some of the world’s leading entertainment companies. It supplies retailers across the UK including Asda, Next, Tesco and John Lewis; as well as a range of major European retailers.
