m4e and YouTube are striving for revenue optimisation with m4e content in the AVOD sector by strengthen their partnership.

Munich-based brand management- and media company m4e AG is already cooperating intensively with the video platform YouTube for several years. Over 5,000 videos from the m4e library, being available online by now, have generated more than 500 million views, enabling m4e and YouTube to exploit a huge revenue potential so far. Now both companies will further expand their strategic cooperation. The core task of this intensive partnership is the ongoing digitization of m4e content in order to preserve older attractive kid’s programmes such as “The Beginners Bible” as well as to increase revenues with m4e content.

The digital market remains on a sustained worldwide growth track, driven by an increasing variety of content. m4e expects further revenue potential particularly in the area of AVOD (ad-based video on demand), the advertising-financed business model within YouTube’s streaming services. Here, new properties of m4e also serve as a marketing tool in order to promote content of its extensive library of more than 2,300 episodes of kids and family entertainment.

With this deepened partnership, m4e will not only promote and exploit its complete programme catalogue, but also preserve it in digital form. As a central channel on YouTube, m4e has created its new platform “made 4 kids TV”, where the YouTube channels of various programmes are bundled and a broad range of other content is provided.
