Selecta® Spielzeug with a brand-new online presence and a re-fashioned package design

The traditional toy brand Selecta® Spielzeug has been representing highest quality made in Bavaria for 50 years. On occasion of their anniversary they appear in a totally fresh, young look and come closer to all (grand)parents. Their new homepage www.selecta-spielzeuge.de leads everyone interested through a dedicated world of infants and children. In addition to their product range, they also provide valuable advice for parents and parents-to-be. Their years of experience with early education have now been translated into a living world of tips and tricks. Also the new package design for the quality products of Selecta® provides clear information on age recommendations and children’s stages of development. The large-scale relaunch in their anniversary year is the result of a major brand acquisition which helped to ensure the brand’s continuity: Since end of October 2017 Selecta® Spielzeug is part of the Berlin-based games and toy company Schmidt Spiele®.

The launch of the new homepage marks the successful final step of the re-brand. Products and online presence have been tailor-made to address the demands of (future) parents and their surroundings. A special focus is placed on key topics for parents-to-be: the protection of their own child and overall sustainability, to protect their children’s future. So Selecta® Spielzeug represents certified safety and all colours used for their quality toys are water-based and environmentally friendly. The wood always comes from sustainable forestry in Germany. Plain language and universal symbols clearly indicate these key aspects.
