Rooftop Film & TV Kicks off with several deals for sports documentary - Take The Ball Pass The Ball

International distribution and production company Rooftop Content Group, through its new subsidiary Rooftop Film & TV, has inked several deals for the feature length sports documentary Take The Ball Pass The Ball.

Leading U.S. Hispanic broadcaster Telemundo, an NBC Universal subsidiary of Comcast Corporation recently aired the Spanish-language dubbed version of the gripping documentary. Based on the award-winning book ‘BARÇA: The Making Of The Greatest Team In The World’ written by well-known Spanish football journalist, broadcaster and author Graham Hunter, the 107-minute documentary features legendary footballers such as Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Piqué, Puyol, Valdés, Busquets, Mascherano, Alves, Abidal, Eto’o, Carrick, Capello, Gudjohnsen and Thierry Henry.

In an all rights deal STUDIOCANAL Germany has picked up Take The Ball Pass The Ball for German speaking Europe. FieldWorks Inc., Japanese marketing company for the film, television and DVD industry, has also acquired the Japanese rights to this engaging documentary.
