This year the seven country women of the “Landfrauenküche” from Bavaria, Germany are once more cooking seasonal set meals in the restaurant of the Bavarian state parliament. On 14th and 15th December and between December 17th and 22nd Eva-Maria Mühlegg and her team present a three-course meal from the show “Die Landfrauenküche” (airing on Bavarian TV) in a seasonal atmosphere against the unique background of the Maximilianeum.

The concept of the show “Landfrauenküche” is as simple as that: Seven country women from seven Bavarian districts come together to get to know each other and – above all – to cook authentic Bavarian cuisine. And, of course, it is also a competition: Who will prepare the best three-course meal? The show presents seasonal and regional specialities of Bavarian cuisine in all its varieties and introduces each region with its culture and cuisine.
