TV Learning Station by VTech wins another toy award

VTech - November, 2006

The TV Learning Station already won the Toy Innovation Award at the Nuremberg’s Toy Fair in early 2006. And now the electronic learning system by VTech Electronic Europe GmbH based in Filderstadt, Germany is awarded another prize – the „Goldenes Schaukelpferd“, assigned by the magazine Familie&Co and the German Toy Industry Association. Family&Co readers have chosen the TV Learning Station “Toy of the Year” in the category “Kid´s Desire”.

The colourful interactive learning system for six- to nine-year-olds can be linked to the TV set in the twinkling of an eye. Children control the games by a mouse and a wireless infra-red keyboard. With numerous games and two levels of difficulty this educational system supports the official curriculum of primary schools in Germany.

The internal “Activity-Intelligence-Manager” automatically adapts the learning level to the child’s level of performance. Four additional cassettes visualize learning contents on German, mathematics, logics, nature and geographic with colourful animated graphics. Text processing and gaming fun give entertaining variety to the learning process.
