Kids want LEGO – at any risk

Children do not stop short of taking high risks to get their own boxes of LEGO bricks. That’s what we learn from an unsettling episode in Largo, Florida. The police reported on a little girl aged between seven and eight who tried to steal two boxes of LEGOs on Tuesday at 9 pm. Having seen the incident, a WAL-MART employee tried to stop her at the exit telling her to give the toys back. All of a sudden, the little one drew a 10 inch carving knife stating she was armed for protection. The clerk kept calm and was finally able to convince her to put down both the knife and the LEGO boxes. However, she escaped on her bicycle. The quick-witted clerk remained unhur .
