Exhibitor numbers up 43 per cent

It’s less than four months since the UK and European licensing industry was packed into Olympia for some serious networking and deal-making, but already nearly 100 companies – including many first timers - have signed up to exhibit at Brand Licensing Europe 2007: an increase of 43 per cent on this time last year.

The only event dedicated to licensing and brand extension in Europe, Brand Licensing Europe takes place on October 2-3, 2007, at Olympia’s Grand Hall in London. New exhibitors for 2007 already include Lego, Brandsauce, Bang On The Door, Milan Collection, Sheepworld and Christies Images.

Some of the biggest names in film and broadcast are among those returning to the show, including Twentieth Century Fox, BBC Worldwide, HIT Entertainment, Granada Ventures and Jetix Consumer Products. And character and brand agents are already well represented with The Beanstalk Group, Coolabi, Global Brands Group, Licensing Management International, Start Licensing and Target Entertainment taking prime positions on the showfloor.

Our exhibitors were thrilled with the success of last year’s show, and both our ensuing decision to move to the bigger Grand Hall at Olympia and our rebrand to Brand Licensing Europe have been really well received,” commented event director Jessica Blue.

“In addition to exhibitor numbers being up by 43 per cent, the Advice Centre and Art, Design and Image Licensing area are both filling up quickly. Everyone is really excited about the transition to the Grand Hall and the future growth of Brand Licensing Europe.”

Brand Licensing Europe takes place at the Grand Hall, Olympia from October 2-3, 2007.
