The official magazine to Germany’s Pop Idol pendant with four issues and exclusive content starts on March 12th, 2007

Only nine candidates left: After Laura’s tearful farewell tension is growing for the remaining contestants of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. How do Julia, Jonathan, Lauren & Co. cope with tension and strain, what happens at home, what do the candidates think and feel? Exclusive insights behind the scene and intimate information about all final contestants published for the first time on March 12th. That’s when the first official issue of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar – Das Magazin” is released. This first class source of information by Medienfabrik Gütersloh in cooperation with RTL Enterprises will see four releases. A special poster magazine with exclusive pictures is scheduled for end of March.

Besides backstage reports, home stories and news the DSDS magazine gives rare insights into the candidates’ villa. From autographs to star poster of the pop idols through to exclusive columns by the presenters – this magazine provides anything the real fan needs to have and needs to know. Special highlight is the DSDS lottery: The winner accompanies Germany’s new pop idol to his/her first video shooting!

The DSDS magazine is a perfect contribution to the show (peaks of 9.25 million viewers and a 37.9 percent-market share of the 14- to 49-year-olds). More than 2 million copies of the official magazine have been sold during the past three DSDS seasons. The brand-new issue will be available from March 12th at estimated retail price of 2.50 €.
