RHS endorses the Prestige range from the Garden Trellis Co

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced its endorsement of the Prestige range of trellis, fencing and gates from The Garden Trellis Co, a designer and manufacturer of bespoke garden joinery. These are the only trellis, fencing and gates that the RHS endorses.

Handcrafted in the UK, these products include contemporary slatted panels, classic square or diagonal trellis, picket fencing, weave panels and solid tongue and groove fence panels. Matching trellis and contemporary slatted gates are also included in the range, which was first introduced in 2015. The Prestige range delivers the quality of the company’s bespoke joinery – which it has been making for over 25 years – in ready-made sizes.

The main market for the range is likely to be enthusiastic gardeners, making the endorsement by Britain’s best-known gardening charity particularly appropriate. However, as a necessary part of most gardens, the fencing is expected to attract wide interest from garden owners in general.

The RHS Prestige joinery products are handmade at the Garden Trellis Co’s workshop in Essex and come in a range of fixed sizes. A cutting service is also available to create the perfect fit. A painting service is also offered, for a long lasting and durable finish. Ready-made for swift delivery, they can be ordered by phone or online for delivery anywhere in the UK.

The Garden Trellis Co is committed to providing a quality service that minimises any potential impact of its work on the environment. All the items use accredited timber and minimise packaging. The company also collects all sawdust and feeds boilers to heat the workshop and paint-drying rooms.

Not only the quality of the products – carefully assessed by the RHS prior to any endorsement – but the emphasis on sustainability and the fact that this is a UK-based craft business were factors in this partnership.
