m4e goes public!

On July 19th, 2007 the day had finally come: The Gruenwald/Munich-based brand management and media firm m4e AG made a solid stock exchange debut as the 100th company in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Placement of m4e’s shares has been successfully completed on Friday 19th July 2007. Due to an increase in capital stock 800,000 shares had been on offer, all heavily oversubscribed. The m4e shares started at Euro 6.94 on Thursday. That’s an increase of almost 7% compared to the opening price of Euro 6.50, but shares dropped slightly later.

According to their credo “made for entertainment” m4e AG focuses on the development, licensing and exploitation of sports, entertainment and personality rights and relies on an extensive brand portfolio. m4e AG acts as the interface between licensors and licensees and develops their own IP-rights. Business areas are TV productions, licensing, home entertainment, merchandising, publishing as well as interactive and new media. m4e is the exclusive licensing and merchandising agency of the German Football Association and the German National Team and responsible for entertainment experts like Marvel Entertainment (Spider-Man III, Spider-Man Classic, Blade, etc.), Rainbow (Winx Club), Nerd Corps (Storm Hawks) and many more.

The fund inflow of Euro 5.2 million will be used for further development and expansion. “In addition, we plan to expand our sales activities especially in Europe,” explained founder and Chairman of the Management Board of m4e AG, Hans Ulrich Stoef.
