Jumbo invites to the game party

Jumbo Spiele - February 2021

In Focus: Party & Co. / Suspicious / The Decades

Nothing stands in the way of the next game party, supplies are assured. With „Suspicious“ and „The Decades“ the Jumbo Verlag is presenting two new products that will appeal especially to millennials. And in addition, the party classic „Party & Co“ celebrates its 30th anniversary with a new edition in an elegant design and a junior edition with even more variety.

For three decades, „Party & Co“ has been guaranteeing bursts of laughter in small and large gaming groups. The game is played in teams that have to fulfill tasks from different categories, of course always under time pressure. Sometimes there are funny quiz questions, then it's a matter of explaining terms by gestures or sounds, seeing through your teammates or proving your creativity. Just in time for the anniversary, this year's original edition comes with updated content and shimmering gold packaging. Of course, the kids are also celebrating the anniversary: "Party & Co Junior" offers tried-and-tested game categories such as lip-reading, drawing or quizzes, plus two different difficulty levels and twice as many tasks as before.

Who is the spy? This question is the focus of the new party hit "Suspicious". The investigation begins when all players receive the same code word, only that of the spy is different. With carefully chosen clues, everyone now tries to find out who is on which side. At the end of the round, the players vote and check who was able to unmask the spy. Crackling suspense and an easy-to-understand game concept make "Suspicious" a special kind of party experience.

When exactly did Germany last win the soccer world championship? And in which year did Pretty Woman actually open in our cinemas? That was exactly when... The players in "The Decades" think about these questions when they place their time markers on the game board and go on a nostalgic party time travel. You can also benefit from the knowledge of others, and if the date isn't exactly right, there's also the "time stretcher", which improves the chances of finding the right answer. In the end, however, it may not always be so important to reach the maximum score if you simply remember good times.
