Licensing Market 2007 on 6 November 2007 - The Big Licensing Event this Autumn

On November 6th licensing professionals from all over Europe meet at this autumn’s biggest industry event in Germany: the Licensing Market 2007, the LIMA Gala and the Presentation of the LIMA Germany Awards in Munich. Here the exquisite hotel Bayerischer Hof provides the perfect background for the exhibition, company presentations, seminars and – of course – for an exclusive gala night.

Licensing professionals of every stage in the value creation chain meet in the communicative atmosphere of the Licensing Market 2007. Licensors, licensees and retailers attend the show – not only as exhibitors, but also as visitors. Little wonder the biggest agencies already booked in January. Super RTL with popular brands like Toggo and Toggolino as well as licensed entertainment including Element Girls, Disney’s Kim Possible and Bob the Builder inform about future promotion events and activities that strengthen brand awareness in different age groups. Copyright Promotions (Pink Panther, Snoopy) will be there as well as Warner Bros, Nickelodeon (SpongeBob – SquarePants) and MerchandisingMediab>. New attendees will be Gelini and g.l.a.m or IMG... .

The LIMA concept appeals to the needs of the industry with its big and small enterprises. More than a thousand visitors came to the debut event last year. Due to their positive response, expectations for 2007 are even higher. 28 well-known exhibitors welcome professional visitors to their info points under the impressive glass dome in the Atrium. More information and displays can be found in the Königssaal of SRTL on a show floor of one hundred fifty square metres. But also the Fürstensalon, the Gelbe Salon, the Montgelassaal or the Ministerzimmer provide space for individual presentation and displays. The Marketplace for Licenses is ideally complemented by high-quality 30- to 60-minutes seminars. Industry experts tell about licensing basics, legal backgrounds, market researches, marketing strategies and firsthand report from retail.

From 9 am to 5.30 pm, the show provides professional visitors with a diversified programme. From 7pm the LIMA invite their guests to an exclusive cocktail reception thus ringing in the day’s highlight: the eagerly anticipated presentation of this year’s LIMA Germany Awards that honours the Germany’s best licensing professionals.
