It’s an unparalleled experience for preschoolers to discover and touch our Earth in 3D. They tap a continent with their finger tips and listen to exciting information from 10 different fields of knowledge. The SJ 18 also appeals to parents and invites them to join in the world travel. The included guide book provides valuable advice and ideas on how to enlarge on individual fields with their children. Thus the Smart Globe™ Junior also promotes the important parent-child-relationship which educationalists strongly recommend to establish.
With SmartGlobe Junior SJ 18 children choose between 10 different subject areas: “Animals, Cultural Sights, National Cuisine, Inventions, Holidays, Sport, Music, National Anthem, Language and Clothes.” All areas are graphically illustrated and easy-to-recognize for children. With a slide they decide on their subject area and turn the globe to the desired region. Via integrated speakers globetrotters are invited to touch a place on the globe. That’s real child’s play, as the sensors on the globe are especially designed for younger fingers. As soon as the sensor is activated, information spouts out of the speaker. The little bear “Oree” accompanies children along their travel and provides exciting information on national animals. Soon children will understand that animals live in different regions and natural habitats depend on climatic zones. Oregon Scientific has brilliantly illustrated the subject area "National Anthems" with respective national flags. |
