A dark fortress, winding corridors, dangerous pitfalls, toxic potions, mighty wizards and brave challengers – that’s the outline of the latest strategy board game by JUMBO: After 5 decades of unbroken success JUMBO adds a new 3D version to their popular Stratego product line - with “Stratego Fortress“. Expansions and a wealth of whole new ideas for the set-up provide strategists and conquerors with endless gaming fun.

On their hunt for the opponent’s flag player no longer face each other at the battle field of Stratego Original. Even worse, they walk straight into the “Lion’s Den” – the enemy’s fortress. They have to find the hidden flag in one of the three levels of a treacherous fortress. But each “lord” protects their flag by a well-designed labyrinth. Hidden traps and deceitful goblets full of poison make the hunt a dangerous adventure.

A league of new characters brings about additional excitement: A wizard, a dwarf, a princess, a knight and a king try and give the conqueror a hard time. And the players are even not able to look into the enemy’s fortress: Counters are moved like in a Battleships Game.

The access to “Stratego Fortress“ is simply easy. A concise five-page rules’ booklet, an introduction game with simplified rules and a minimum of counters make it even easier. Stratego Experts may choose a more sophisticated alternative which allows creating individual pitfalls and traps. And those how like to add more tension, may combine different “Fortress” games and build large fortifications with even wider stretching mazes and labyrinths. There’s no limit for strategic gaming fun!
