Brandora News - October 2007

The Broad Street Licensing Group announced today a license agreement for downloadable cell phone games between Miami-based Quick Serve Restaurant giant Burger King Corp. (NYSE: BKC) and Mobliss, a division of the Index Group of technology companies. Carole Francesca, president of Broad Street Licensing, which brokered the deal, said, “it’s especially exciting when a license is both strategic and cool, and these cell phone games are a perfect platform for the BURGER KING® brand.”

Russ Klein, president, global marketing, strategy and innovation, Burger King Corporation, said, “Over the past four years, Burger King Corp. has been innovative and relevant in its marketing endeavors with entertainment, media and technology properties. Seventeen percent of consumers' total media consumption is online and 15 percent of media consumption by our key demographic, 18-34 year olds, centers around gaming. The idea of bringing those two components together is compelling and seems to be the perfect fit for a socially relevant company like Burger King Corporation."
