Fundex Games, Ltd., October, 15th 2007

Fundex Games, Ltd. today announced it has acquired privately-held Great American Puzzle Factory, a manufacturer of jigsaw puzzles and games based in South Norwalk, Connecticut.

“Great American Puzzle Factory is a strategic addition to Fundex since it will extend our business into new categories which share a common consumer and customer base,” said Chip Voigt, President, Fundex Games. “This acquisition supports our steady growth plan and brings an innovative product line of award-winning puzzles and games, targeted to both children and adults, to our portfolio.”

“Fundex Games will provide outstanding creative resources to our award-winning product line as well as strong marketing support to build our puzzle and game business” said Pat Duncan, president and founder of Great American Puzzle Factory, who will join the Fundex management team. “The combined company is a perfect union of strengths and will be a dynamic and diverse choice for our customers.”

Great American Puzzle Factory produces a line of puzzles and games including best-selling products NAMiTs® — portable games on a ring where players answer open-ended questions and One Tough Puzzle — which only includes nine pieces but has over 300,000 possible combinations with only one right answer. The company also produces a range of licensed products from John Deere, Crayola and Jelly Belly.

Great American Puzzle Factory operations will relocate to Fundex headquarters in Indiana.
