TV-Loonland inks raft of deals for its key property Little Princess

Pre-school series nominated for prestigious Children's BAFTA Award

TV-Loonland today announced, that success of its critically acclaimed brand Little Princess (65x11 min) continues globally across all platforms with a raft of deals secured on the TV and Home Entertainment side.

With very strong ratings on FIVE and its ever increasing appeal, Little Princess has been nominated for this years prestigious Children's British Academy Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award in the category best Pre-school animated series.

In addition to being placed in over 120 territories, TV rights for both seasons have now been acquired by Cartoon Network Spain and TV Ontario, Canada. Having already picked up the first season, French broadcaster CanalJ and France 5, ABC Australia, Minimax Poland as well as public broadcaster RUV Iceland have all committed to the second season, following earlier deals signed with S4C Wales, SVT Barnkanalen Sweden, NRK (Super Kids) Norway and DR TV Denmark. In Italy, Little Princess is soon to make her debut on RAI TRE.

In the home entertainment field, deals have been secured for both seasons with Portugal's LNK Audiovisual S.A. and Universal Pictures Video for French speaking Europe. Further, Home Video rights for the first season have been licensed to Polish Cass Film Entertainment.

The Little Princess brand also continues to strengthen its international licensing and merchandising. In this respect TV-Loonland is pleased to announce a deal with renowned publisher Panini who will market an activity magazine within German speaking Europe from 2008 onwards.
